During the training course we took part in several activities. Very intense but exciting schedule: 8 hours a day in which energizers alternated with team buildings and more demanding sessions.
The training course was held in Kayseri (TK) from 26th July till 3rd August 2017. Project gathered participants from Turkey, Estonia, Malta, Spain. Greece, Romania, and Italy and it was organized by NECI Turkey within Erasmus + program. Our organization NECI ITALIA was represented by three of our members who were actively involved in all phases of the project and who are actively involved in our regular activities. Through various number of different workshops, discussions and presentations, we learned a lot about inclusion in other countries but also about examples of good practice which we can use in order to improve situation in our country.

One of the most exciting and significant activities was the role play about how an NGO can help a young unemployed guy finding a job. This activity gave us many inputs to transfer in the real life. We learned how to prepare a CV experimenting also the live curriculum. We got lots of ideas and shared many suggestions among participants. We have established very close ties, despite our different origins, ages, cultures. The intercultural dinners helped us to understand more about our cultures. Another interesting activity was the poster about fundraising: how to promote events for charity or help people i need. The location of the course was in front of a mosque, it was nice to discover Turkish habits. We enjoyed the visit to Kapadokya, a place that everyone should visit at least once in life.

There was an unexpected added value that forever will be the best dissemination of a great project. Two of the Italian participants are a couple (Teresa and Cristian): by the end of the training course they discovered she was pregnant. A new baby European citizen named Lorenzo is going to enlarge the SMARTD family.
We'll never forget this experience.
