TC: Innovative conflict resolution approaches for youth workers through non formal educationConflict Resolution Approaches for Youth Workers Through Non Formal Education

The training course took place in Turkey, Kayseri from 26th June to 4th July. From Italy three participants were involved, sent by NECI ITALIA.
It was a very  important experience for us, for our carrier. Based on non formal education, we had the chance to discover ourselves and had the opportunity to raise our awareness on the topic of conflicts resolution.  We learnt a lot about how to react on different situation with which we need to deal in our regular activities when it come to unexpected situations and how to deal with it in the best possible way.
Many activities were organized by the trainer. We took part in all of them with great enthusiasm.
We simulated situation from real life, using our creativity and overcoming our shyness.
Taking part in every workshop session, playing different roles, we had the chance to reflect on the role of prejudices in the conflict situations.
Energizers and team building activities helped us to create a collaborative atmosphere, to not get bored or tired, to feel more confident, to avoid conflictual attitudes.

After every session, everyday there was a reflection time in pair and in group. We found this activity very crucial : this was the moment when we could share our thoughts, our ideas, emotions.

Two intercultural dinners were prepared in order to get acquainted with the culture of various partner and their countries.  Fantastic!

We could visit the area of  Cappadocia and some of us could experiment the trip on the ballon.
